Eye Makeup Tips for Big Eyes Using Everyday Makeup

Sometimes eye makeup tips feel like prep work for glamour shots. I know, tough to imagine. Since when can you have too much glamour? However, with eye makeup less could be more. You would be unwise to wear that beautifully intricate smoky eye look to work. Or at least, it would be unwise.

Of course this does not mean that your eye makeup has to be boring. You can get “everyday” eyes with less makeup but the same effects. Lots of these tactics may save you major time. When I started using this particular tip, I cut my eye makeup application time from 7 minutes to about 45 seconds.

People mostly use eye makeup to accentuate their eyes. Making your eyes bigger is the best way to do this with everyday makeup. You can use this eye makeup tip to make your eyes look bigger naturally.

You will need a light eye shadow like gold, and a darker eye shadow like brown. The colors should complement your skin tones. They should not contain glitter but they can be reflective. Loreal’s “Wear Infinite” Holographic line works quite well for this look.

1. Extend the light eye shadow up to your brow. This will create a smooth skin tone with a bright eye area.

2. Use the darker eye shadow to make a thick, smudged line in the crease of your eye. You will basically make a semi-circle over your eye. This darker shade will make your eyes look wider and brighter when your eyes are open.

At this point, you’re done. Enjoy your new, brighter, doe-eyed look. Options to dress this up include using white or pink for the background and violet for the semi circle. You might also try darker hues on the lid below the semi circle. Bright lines of color along the eyelid will make your look pop even more. Use these eye makeup tips to get bright, enormous eyes.
